Updated Version: MikvahCalendar

I’ve been escorting MikvahCalendar.com for a couple of years.

My books, particularly Family Purity and Times have been credited with spurring on this and other such family law websites.

That includes a lot of hard work on everyone’s part. A lot of research, editing, consulting, writing, programming (on their part) etc.

It was a groundbreaking effort when it first appeared. Now, after many years of effort (infinite hours, really), the’ve announced the first major updated.

Here is the official announcement:

History is made today with the release of MikvahCalendar.com‘s groundbreaking Kavuah pattern system!!
Seven years in the making, MikvahCalendar.com‘s most advanced Kavuah system is now LIVE!

To fully observe the laws of Mikvah, it is necessary to detect regular patterns in the menstrual cycle and then use that information to calculate one’s next expected period. This is a confusing process when considering the
possibility of simultaneous patterns, dormant patterns, active patterns, and uprooted patterns. Making matters even more complicated, life events such as pregnancy, birth, and nursing affect the calculations and need to be
taken into consideration.

MivkahCalendar.com has created a system which will automatically do the work for you. The website’s developers have worked with Rabbonim from all sectors of the Jewish world to codify these laws
into a programming framework.

Our advanced calculation program not only performs the calculations, but will send text and email reminders of all of these important dates. It also allows for flexibility in “pausing” a Kavuah pattern due to a lifecycle
event and then activating it again at the correct time. (In the app, you can “pause” a Kavuah in the “Anticipated Flows” section.”

Go ahead, login and play around. We know you will be astounded!

Since the giving of the Torah, it has never been so easy to keep the laws of Mikvah.

If all this sounds confusing to you, do not worry. Just enter your dates as usual and MikvahCalendar.com will continue doing all the calculations for you.

As always, we look forward to hearing from you,
The Team at MikvahCalendar.com
